Here is what the front yard looked like
before I started working. |
Here you can see how badly they needed
landscaping. |
Another angle. There yard was so dry
and just full of weeds before I started. |
Here is the trench for a small
retaining wall which will help keep the hill in place. |
|
|
|
|
Another angle of the front before I put
in the retaining wall. |
You can see here how much of an incline
I had to work with. |
With the retaining wall in place I
began the planting. |
I planted 37 flats of ground cover, 3-5
gallon plants, and over 25-1 gallon plants. |
|
|
|
|
I used 6 rolls of shade cloth and it
seemed like the flats of ground cover went for ever. |
I installed 11 irrigation circuits and
over 3,500 feet of piping. |
You see here some of the 8 Tons of Arizona
flagstone I installed. |
It took some 6 yards of concrete to
install the flagstone. |
|
|
|
|
As you can see, everything was done by
hand giving the yard a wonderful look. |
The walk way is complete and planting
was next. |
This is the finished yard, with 3,600
Sq. Ft. of sod. I think it turned out nice. |
I think the house has real curb appeal
now, and I know it is a pleasure to come home to. |
